1Intellectual Property

Participants retain full ownership of the intellectual property of their projects. However, teams grant ZYPH the right to showcase, publish, and promote winning or shortlisted projects for non-commercial promotional purposes with due credit.

2Original Work Requirement

All submissions must be original work developed primarily during the hackathon period. Use of open-source libraries, APIs, and publicly available tools is allowed, provided proper attribution is given.

3Eligibility

The hackathon is open to students, professionals, and innovators from all backgrounds. Participants must register through the official platform to be considered eligible.

4Age Requirement

Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of registration. Participants below 18 must have documented parental or guardian consent.

5Team Formation Rules

Teams must adhere to the team size and composition guidelines specified by the organizers. Changes to team members after registration may require prior approval.

6Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain professionalism, respect, and ethical behavior throughout the event. Any form of harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, or misconduct will not be tolerated.

7Mentorship Fees & Non-Refund Policy

A mentorship fee is collected as part of the Global Summit registration. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Once payment is made, no refunds will be processed regardless of participation status, withdrawal, or disqualification. Participants are advised to carefully review all event details before completing registration and payment.

8Use of Technology & Ethics

Projects must comply with ethical standards and applicable laws. Solutions promoting harm, misinformation, surveillance abuse, or unethical data usage may be disqualified.

9Submission & Deadlines

All project submissions must be completed and submitted before the specified deadlines. Late or incomplete submissions may not be evaluated.

10Disqualification Clause

Teams may be disqualified for rule violations, unethical practices, plagiarism, misuse of resources, or failure to meet submission requirements. All disqualification decisions rest solely with the organizing committee and are final.

11Judging & Final Decisions

Judging criteria, scoring, and final results are determined by the appointed judges and organizers. No appeals or disputes regarding scores, rankings, or results will be entertained.

12Travel, Accommodation & Personal Safety

The organizing committee is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or personal expenses incurred by participants. The committee is also not liable for participant safety, loss, injury, or damage outside the official hackathon venue or beyond the duration when participants are physically present at the event premises.
